Role Description
As a Social Media Manager, you will collaborate closely with other departments to develop creative social media campaigns and manage them through to reporting, with a particular focus on LinkedIn. You have an eye for trends and memes and know how to transform them into viral content for our clients. You enjoy client contact and project management. While you combine strategist, psychologist and technician skills, you maintain a consistent personality and engage your community with shared content. Convince us to become your follower.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and strategically develop our clients, designing creative social media campaigns with the right balance of creativity and analysis.
- Act as the main contact for clients on all social media matters, predominantly LinkedIn, and manage projects effectively.
- Create content including posts, stories, videos and memes, always finding the right tone to engage target audiences.
- Work closely with all departments (concept and copywriting, art direction, content production) and contribute your own creative ideas.
- Identify new trends and technologies early to keep us and our clients ahead of the curve.
- Support pitches with creative input and strategic thinking.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in project management and social media, especially LinkedIn, ideally within an agency environment.
- Interest in socio-political clients and topics.
- Strong market and brand understanding with enthusiasm for a variety of industries.
- Ability to work independently and lead clients and teams confidently and with commitment.
- High screen time with LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram and similar apps as most used.
- A sense of aesthetics and design, humour, and knowledge of internet and pop culture.
- Strong motivation to work in a fast-paced, creative and dynamic environment.
