Social Media Board is the trading name of 360 Web Services LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). Company Registration Number: 16215788.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Social Media Board, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Platform Overview

Social Media Board is a UK-based job board and talent directory where:

  • Job seekers can create profiles, upload CVs, and apply to job postings.
  • Recruiters can post job opportunities and view candidate profiles and CVs.

The platform may display third-party advertisements, including Google Ads and affiliate links. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party ads or external websites.

We are not an employer, recruiter, or employment agency. We provide a platform for connecting candidates and recruiters but are not involved in the hiring process.

3. Account Registration

To access most features, users must register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

By registering, you agree to receive essential service communications (such as account updates, security alerts, and legal notices). You may also opt in or out of non-essential emails, such as newsletters or job alerts, from your account dashboard.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Accounts may be suspended or terminated if found in violation of these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent information
  • Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or illegal content
  • Harass, abuse, or spam other users
  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Share sensitive personal data (such as political opinions, health, or financial information) unless strictly necessary
  • Attempt to bypass paid features or misuse platform functionality

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

5. Recruiter Services & Payments

Free Plan Limitations: Free users may post a maximum of 1 job per calendar month. Attempts to bypass this limit (e.g., creating multiple accounts) may result in suspension.

Payment Methods: All payments are processed securely through PayPal, supporting both one-off purchases and recruiter subscriptions.

Subscriptions: Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation can be made at any time via your PayPal account or dashboard. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not refund past payments.

Refunds: Refunds may be granted within 14 days of purchase if services have not been consumed (e.g., recruiter contact details accessed). Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take up to 10 working days to appear.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform content, unless uploaded by users, is the property of 360 Web Services LTD and protected by intellectual property law.

7. User Content

Candidates: You retain ownership of your CVs, portfolios, and applications. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display your content for platform operation.

Applications are transmitted to recruiters. Email-relayed CVs are deleted after delivery. Internal applications may be stored until you delete them or close your account. CVs uploaded to portfolios remain until you remove them or delete your account.

Recruiters: You retain ownership of job listings but grant us a licence to host and display them. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with employment and anti-discrimination laws.

8. Recruiter-to-Candidate / Candidate-to-Recruiter Communications

Messages exchanged via the platform may include the sender’s name, email address, and message content. These communications are transmitted to the recipient and may appear in their dashboard for record-keeping.

We do not permanently store the full content of messages beyond what is required for delivery, security, and audit purposes. Once a message has been delivered, Social Media Board has no control over how recipients may use or retain it.

9. Security, Logging & Audit

We maintain audit logs for fraud prevention and compliance. These may include user ID, job ID, IP address, device type, action performed, and timestamp. Logs are retained for operational and security purposes only.

10. Data Breach & Security Disclaimer

We take reasonable precautions to protect your account and data. However, you are responsible for your login security. In the event of a breach, we will notify affected users as required by law. We are not liable for losses caused by third-party breaches beyond our reasonable control.

11. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, WordPress, and IONOS. Their use is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Platform Availability

We aim to keep the platform available but may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, upgrades, or technical reasons. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

13. Limitation of Liability

All content and job opportunities are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from inaccurate listings, unsuccessful applications, downtime, or reliance on platform content.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

16. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
