About the Role

MAKE is seeking an authentic, social-savvy Community Manager who understands the creator world deeply. Whether you are a creator yourself or have professional experience managing online communities and social media, this role focuses on building trust, fostering community, and engaging authentically with creators across key platforms such as Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and X.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage actively in subreddits and threads where creators discuss banking challenges and business operations, responding and supporting conversations naturally.
• Create and manage MAKE’s Reddit community, including posting, moderation, and engagement.
• Develop interactive programmes such as AMAs, Q&As, and community challenges to encourage participation and foster a sense of belonging.

• Set up, launch, and grow MAKE’s organic social channels on Instagram, TikTok, and X.
• Create original content including short videos, behind-the-scenes moments, community stories, and relatable posts that resonate with creators.
• Represent MAKE authentically on camera and at creator events, producing content such as interviews, event recaps, and spontaneous clips.
• Collaborate with designers and content managers to maintain consistent and genuine visuals and tone.
• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.

• Identify and collaborate with creators and influencers aligned with MAKE’s mission.
• Build long-term relationships with trusted voices who can authentically advocate for MAKE.
• Support and amplify creators within the community as peers sharing genuine experiences, rather than as advertisements.

• Track performance metrics across channels, including engagement, conversation trends, and sentiment.
• Share insights with the team regarding what resonates with creators and emerging topics.
• Use data-driven approaches to experiment and continuously improve MAKE’s social media and community presence.

Candidate Profile

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Can multitask effectively, from spotting trends and creating content quickly to engaging in meaningful Reddit discussions and producing video walkthroughs.
• Are comfortable being visible online by posting, replying, and joining discussions genuinely.
• Have a natural ability to build trust, initiate conversations, and connect with people online.
• Know Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok intimately.
• Have proven experience running and growing social channels, including your own.
• Enjoy using insights and data to understand what works and why.

Experience & Background

We welcome a range of experiences, including candidates who have:

• Built or managed their own creator pages or grown Reddit/online communities.
• Managed social channels for creators, brands, or platforms.
• Deep familiarity with creator communities and authentic engagement strategies.
• Strong understanding of social media metrics, analytics, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with content creation, including design, video, or editing.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience in influencer marketing or managing brand ambassadors.
• Comfortable using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
