Overview

Fanbase is a fast-growing sports tech startup dedicated to helping ambitious teams, leagues, events, and federations increase revenue, fan engagement, and digitise operations. Our all-in-one platform supports ticketing, memberships, apps, insights, and more, with a focus on modernising how the sports industry connects with fans. Having achieved strong traction (£1m ARR in 2.5 years), we are now expanding our presence through content, community, and thought leadership to better support our network of sports operators.

You will be responsible for driving our content strategy, growing our social media presence, managing community initiatives via The Clubhouse by Fanbase, and amplifying the voices of our member sports operators across all key channels.

Your mission is to make Fanbase the most visible, valuable, and trusted name in sports tech.

    • Recognise and reward referrals and contributions within the community
    • Create viral and shareable content that spreads organically within leagues and teams
  • Amplification

    • Identify and secure podcast guest appearances and event participation opportunities
    • Drive partnerships with leagues, media, and other organisations to increase exposure
  • Awareness & Growth
    • Build brand visibility through social media, community engagement, and viral loops such as “Powered by Fanbase” assets
    • Experiment with new content formats including leaderboards, dashboards, and videos to increase awareness
    • Measure the impact of content and community efforts, tracking engagement, reach, and inbound leads

What You’ll Need

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, comfortable creating engaging thought-leadership content
  • Organised, creative, and proactive with the ability to own and deliver projects end-to-end
  • Passion for sport and supporting clubs to grow through improved fan engagement
