Contract: Full-time
Location: City of London, United Kingdom
Salary: Not Specified
Company: OLIVER Agency

Established in 2004, OLIVER is the world’s first and only specialist in designing, building, and running bespoke in-house agencies and marketing ecosystems for brands. Partnering with over 300 clients across 40+ countries, OLIVER delivers tailored solutions that combine creativity and efficiency to resonate deeply with audiences.

Role: Content Creator

Location: London

About the role

You will be a key creative behind a global beauty brand’s social content, producing work that establishes the brand as one of the most engaging and trusted voices in beauty online. This role focuses on creating content that feels native to each platform, reflecting real people, moments, and conversations about beauty, confidence, and self-esteem.

Working at the intersection of brand purpose and social culture, you will create content that naturally aligns with creators, conversations, and trends your audience follows. The most effective brand content in this role feels honest, relevant, and worth sharing rather than overtly branded.

We seek a culturally plugged-in, creatively resourceful individual comfortable producing content end to end — spotting opportunities, conceptualising quickly, producing with care, and delivering timely content that drives engagement and strengthens brand affinity.

Key responsibilities

  • Concept, shoot, edit, and produce social-first content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories, static, and emerging formats
  • Develop content ideas that translate brand purpose and product messaging into authentic, platform-native moments that audiences relate to and want to share
  • Create lo-fi, high-impact content using smartphone, DSLR, and simple lighting and production setups, prioritising authenticity over polish
  • Storyboard and present content concepts, clearly articulating the creative idea and platform rationale
  • Stay current with social trends, viral formats, platform features, creator culture, and emerging content styles; flag relevant opportunities and translate them into content ideas
  • Produce reactive and real-time content connecting the brand to cultural moments and trending conversations while maintaining brand voice and values
  • Edit and adapt content across formats and platforms, reimagining a single shoot or asset in multiple ways to maximise reach and relevance using Premiere Pro, CapCut, and native platform editing tools
  • Collaborate with social media managers to align content with publishing calendars, campaign timelines, and community engagement priorities
  • Support shoots and content production involving creators, influencers, and real people, ensuring inclusivity, respect, and authentic representation of real beauty
  • Experiment with new formats, techniques, and creative approaches, sharing insights with the wider team
  • Use Generative AI tools to support content creation, from ideation and visual references to editing and copy exploration
  • Ensure all content meets platform specifications, brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and compliance requirements

Person specification

  • A portfolio demonstrating 2-4 years of social content creation, with examples of platform-native work generating genuine audience engagement (shares, saves, comments, conversation)
  • Technical confidence across concepting, shooting, editing, and publishing, comfortable working with both smartphone and DSLR setups
  • Proficient editing skills in Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut, or equivalent, with ability to adapt content across formats and platforms
  • Fluency in social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging channels, with understanding of content performance and discovery
  • Strong cultural awareness with ability to spot trending moments, formats, and conversations and quickly turn them into content ideas
  • Experience creating content for consumer brands, communicating product or brand messages in a genuine and relatable manner
  • Ability to work at social speed, managing time and priorities to deliver quality content on tight deadlines
  • Collaborative and proactive attitude, willing to contribute across different content types and production needs
  • Interest in inclusive content creation, including authentic representation in casting, imagery, and storytelling
  • Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus

Our values

  • Be Ambitious to succeed
  • Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible
  • Be Inspirational to do groundbreaking work
  • Be always learning and listening to understand
  • Be Results-focused to exceed expectations
  • Be actively pro-inclusive and anti-racist across our community, clients, and creations
