Join Bauer Media Audio’s Brand Insight team, a growing group dedicated to understanding audience behaviour, market trends, and competitive dynamics to support marketing, content, and social teams. Based at The Lantern, London, with flexible working options, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to brand-focused research projects and influence strategic decision-making through data analysis.

About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will analyse and interpret data from social media platforms, websites, and streaming logs to provide clear, actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with Social Video, Podcasts, Content, and Marketing teams to set KPIs, build dashboards, and support senior stakeholders in making data-driven decisions. This role is ideal for candidates with proven experience in digital and social analytics seeking a strategic yet hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Area Digital Research team to set UK social KPIs.
  • Use social insight to support commercial partnerships and sponsored social content.
  • Act as the UK expert in major social analytics tools including Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, Snap Studio, and X Analytics.
  • Produce weekly social reports for Bauer Media Audio UK brands with actionable insights.
  • Report on digital consumption metrics such as signed-in users and time spent on Owned & Operated platforms.
  • Use data creatively to identify issues, highlight opportunities, and encourage innovative thinking.
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations to Content, Marketing, Social, and Commercial teams.
  • Work with large datasets across major social platforms to deliver in-depth analysis.
  • Create dashboards using tools such as Looker or Power BI.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of social video analytics and ability to extract insights from native platforms and tools such as Sprout and Brandwatch.
  • Excellent understanding of indirect revenue strategies across social and video.
  • Strong awareness of platform-specific content trends and best practices.
  • Good understanding of paid social across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Snap.
  • Awareness of emerging platforms and shifts in content consumption.
  • Understanding of organic social strategies and how to maximise engagement.
  • Highly collaborative working style with the ability to build trust across teams.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Background in media or digital environments with a strong appreciation for metrics.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Business Managers across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Snap.
  • Ability to use visualisation tools such as Looker or Power BI.
  • Experience querying and interrogating large datasets.
  • Ability to integrate APIs and perform deep dives into big-data reports.
