About the Role
Citi is seeking a Digital & Social Media Manager at Vice President level to join its Enterprise Services and Public Affairs team. This role is central to protecting and enhancing Citi’s global reputation, shaping digital storytelling, and driving engagement across Citi’s social media and digital channels. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, you’ll manage campaigns, oversee digital content strategy, and support reputation management for one of the world’s most influential financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Citi’s global social media and digital content strategy in partnership with senior leaders
- Create, manage, and optimise content across social channels and Citigroup.com
- Lead social listening and reputation management, monitoring key issues and trends
- Support digital elements of live and virtual events, collaborating with PR and production teams
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure content consistency, alignment, and brand voice across channels
- Use analytics to measure performance, identify opportunities, and refine strategy
- Stay ahead of social, digital, and technology trends to ensure Citi remains at the forefront of digital communications
- Provide strategic counsel on digital engagement, balancing priorities and managing requests across business units
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience in digital communications, social media, or marketing, ideally within a large and complex organisation
- Proven ability to distil complex subject matter into clear, engaging digital content
- Deep knowledge of social platforms, social listening tools, and reputation management
- Experience managing content on corporate websites and using tools like Sprinklr
- Understanding of SEO, digital optimisation, and familiarity with AI tools
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while managing multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, marketing, or a related field
