Overview
The Display & Paid Social Manager role requires a candidate with strong experience in Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn advertising, alongside additional expertise in Search Engine Advertising (SEA). This position focuses on the strategic and operational management of performance campaigns across multiple paid channels, involving close collaboration with external partners and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, hands-on campaign experience, and the ability to manage projects end-to-end, acting as a central point of contact for paid media activities in both German and English.
Tasks
- Paid Media Leadership and Channel Ownership
- Own strategy and execution for performance campaigns across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, SEA, plus additional paid social channels.
- Define channel strategies, testing roadmaps, and budget allocation to drive scalable performance.
- Ensure efficient setup, governance, and continuous optimisation across accounts and campaigns.
- Performance, Analytics, and Reporting
- Set KPIs, build optimisation frameworks, and steer performance using a performance-first approach.
- Develop advanced audience strategies (prospecting, retargeting, lookalikes, funnel-based setups) and translate insights into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Stakeholders, Agencies, and Project Leadership
- Act as the central point of contact for paid media, aligning Marketing, Creative, Product, and Data teams.
- Lead creative briefing processes (messaging frameworks, creative hypotheses, scripts) and ensure creative output supports performance goals.
- Manage projects end to end. Drive timelines, priorities, best practices, and process improvements. Enable the team as a go-to expert and sparring partner.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in Display, Paid Social, and Performance Marketing.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and ideally SEA. Practical experience running multi-channel setups.
- Strong analytical mindset. Comfortable defining KPIs, building reporting, and making data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience developing audience strategies across the full funnel.
- Track record managing external agencies and senior stakeholders with clear, structured communication.
- Strong project ownership. Able to run complex workstreams end to end across multiple teams.
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
