Freelance Social Content Creator

Overview

As a Social Content Creator, you will be passionate about hands-on content creation, innovation, and creative craft. You will have agency experience producing short-form social content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, utilising strong editing and motion graphics skills. This role requires a strategic mindset, a collaborative approach, and a flair for ideation.

You will be organised, creative, and motivated by producing excellent work, whether that involves concept development with the wider team or independently shooting and editing content. You will contribute to shaping the future of social media advertising for a leading global tech brand known for revolutionary software solutions that enhance creativity and productivity worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and execute platform-native social content aligned with strategic objectives, trends, and consumer-focused ideas.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the creative team, content creators, influencers, and production partners to develop and deliver brand content.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with account management, project management, strategy, and creative teams.
• Contribute regularly to creative and strategic brainstorms to produce quick-turn content within timeline and budget constraints.
• Develop and write creative briefs for content creators and influencers.
• Support the development and implementation of creative workflows, systems, and processes to enhance creative output and operational efficiency.
• Manage multiple client programmes simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed from start to finish within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in and passion for Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Express, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and others.
• Extensive experience in self-shooting, motion design, editing, and working on set.
• 3-5 years of content creation experience within a marketing environment.
• Experience concepting and creating brand content across owned social channels.
• Experience creating both original and remixed content:
  • Original: capturing/shooting video and/or photography using handheld cameras.
  • Remix: working with existing footage and/or photography to create remixed assets.
• Hands-on content creation skills, from scripting through to shooting and finishing.
• Ability to ideate and develop original concepts independently and collaboratively.
• Proven track record of concepting and executing original content across TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed), YouTube (including Shorts), and other emerging platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Passion for exceeding client expectations and delivering exceptional results.
• Keen eye for detail with the ability to consider the bigger picture.
• Highly organised, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
