Jugo is seeking a Head of Brand & Content to lead and scale its brand impact across all customer touchpoints. This hybrid role, based in Bristol, offers a salary of £50,000 – £60,000 and the opportunity to shape the brand narrative, content strategy, and public relations for a next-generation virtual meeting impact technology company. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure consistent, compelling brand communication that drives engagement and growth.

The Role: Head of Brand & Content

As the Head of Brand & Content, you will be a strategic storyteller and hands-on leader responsible for scaling Jugo’s brand presence from awareness through to retention. You will lead brand and content development, ensure narrative consistency, and collaborate closely with the Head of Growth Marketing and agency partners to support the entire customer lifecycle.

This role also includes interim responsibility for PR and communications, owning earned media and visibility until a dedicated PR lead is appointed in 2027. It is a high-impact, cross-functional position influencing marketing, product, sales, success, and creative teams to make Jugo unmissable in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Narrative
    • Define and evolve Jugo’s brand positioning, voice, and tone across all channels
    • Create messaging frameworks by persona, vertical, and lifecycle stage
    • Ensure brand consistency across functions and customer experiences
    • Champion a distinctive, human-first narrative in a crowded SaaS space
  • Content Leadership & Execution
    • Build and own the content roadmap including blog, email, social, video, and long-form content
    • Deliver content across the full customer lifecycle from top of funnel to retention and expansion
    • Write, commission, and edit high-quality content assets
    • Optimise content for engagement, search, performance, and brand fit
  • Campaigns & Demand Alignment
    • Partner with Growth Marketing to co-create high-impact campaigns
    • Translate go-to-market priorities into content that converts
    • Align messaging across paid media, account-based marketing, nurture, and product launches
  • PR & Thought Leadership (Interim)
    • Act as interim PR lead in collaboration with agency partner Babel
    • Own earned media strategy, executive communications, and thought leadership platforms
    • Drive visibility through media, speaking opportunities, and contributor content
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with Product Marketing to translate features into meaningful stories
    • Enable Sales and Customer Success with tools such as case studies, decks, guides, and scripts
    • Partner with Design to maintain brand quality and creative integrity

About You

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Are a confident brand and content leader with both strategic and executional expertise
  • Have 6–10 years’ experience in B2B SaaS, consumer tech, or storytelling-focused roles
  • Understand how to scale a brand system rather than deliver one-off projects
  • Have experience leading agency relationships and managing creative output at pace
  • Know the role of content across the commercial funnel
  • Excel in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
  • Write exceptionally well and care deeply about craft
  • Think like a builder, not a caretaker
