Overview
MHI Media is a UK-based performance marketing agency specialising in scaling direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands to seven and eight-figure revenues. We manage paid media campaigns across platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok, and YouTube, supported by in-house creative strategy, content production, and conversion optimisation. With over 30 active clients, a team of 45+, and tens of millions in managed ad spend, we are entering a new phase of growth and seek a Head of Growth to lead this expansion.
Location and Salary
- Location: UK-based (hybrid/remote flexible)
- Salary: £70,000 plus performance bonus

The Role
We are recruiting a Head of Growth to take ownership of MHI Media’s revenue growth through new business acquisition, client expansion, strategic partnerships, and positioning the agency as the leading performance partner for scaling DTC brands. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Founder and involves shaping growth strategy and building a robust sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the growth engine by developing and executing strategies for acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and driving agency revenue.
- Build and manage the sales pipeline, including outbound prospecting, inbound lead nurturing, proposal development, pitching, and closing deals.
- Position MHI Media in the market by enhancing brand presence, thought leadership, and engagement across LinkedIn, events, partnerships, and industry communities.
- Develop strategic partnerships such as referral networks, technology collaborations, and complementary service relationships to generate deal flow.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder, Sales Director, and delivery teams to align growth targets with operational capacity.
- Identify market opportunities by analysing trends in DTC, e-commerce, and performance marketing to explore new verticals, services, or geographies.
- Report on key growth metrics including pipeline value, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), churn, and revenue forecasts.
Person Specification
Required- Minimum 4 years’ experience in growth, business development, or commercial leadership roles, preferably within a digital marketing or performance marketing agency.
- Proven track record of closing £500,000+ in annual new business revenue.
- Strong understanding of paid media, DTC e-commerce, and the agency landscape.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of pitching, writing compelling proposals, and building genuine relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute; comfortable both building the playbook and delivering results.
- Data-driven decision maker using pipeline metrics, conversion data, and market intelligence.
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy; this is a build-it role rather than maintain-it.
- Experience at a performance marketing, paid social, or creative agency.
- Existing network within the DTC and e-commerce brand space.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
- Knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads sufficient to engage credibly with prospects.
- Experience scaling an agency from £1 million to £5 million+ in revenue.
