Role Purpose
Kickers is an iconic brand, deeply embedded in UK culture. As Junior Social Media Executive, you will help bring the brand to life across our social channels — ensuring authentic presence in key cultural moments, engaging with the Kickers community, and telling the brand story in a compelling and relevant way. From major brand activations to product launches and events, you will capture content and translate it onto our social feeds. You will also play a key role in maintaining Kickers as the trusted ‘uniform’ for school children across the country, helping the brand lead on the playground and remain trusted by parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Content & Community Manager in delivering the Kickers social strategy across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
- Schedule and publish content across Kickers Adults and Kids social channels, ensuring compelling content and best-in-class execution.
- Actively manage and engage with the Kickers community to drive advocacy, two-way conversation and brand visibility in relevant discussions.
- Support management of the social content calendar to ensure consistent, authentic presence in the right cultural moments.
- Create trend-led, reactive and engaging content aligned with platform behaviours and emerging social formats.
- Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Develop regular social trend reports and share insights with the wider Kickers team to inspire content creation and brand thinking.
- Support identification of relevant influencers and content creators for partnerships.
- Assist with creator outreach and campaign coordination as required.
- Support cultural activations and collaborations from a social perspective.
- Help maintain brand tone of voice and visual consistency across all outputs.
- Support wider brand team tasks including sample management and general marketing support when needed.
Person Specification
- Genuine passion for fashion, youth culture and social media; a strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest and how content performs on each platform.
- Obsessed with content — always analysing what works, what doesn’t, and generating new ideas.
- Confidence to proactively bring forward new ideas and identify emerging opportunities or trends.
- Strong understanding of brand tone of voice and ability to apply it consistently.
- Creative mindset with the ability to create simple, engaging, trend-led content.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-starter attitude with willingness to contribute fully in a small, lean team.
- Hungry to learn, grow and develop a career within brand and social marketing, with enthusiasm and commitment to the role.
