Overview

This is a 5-month fixed term contract starting the week commencing 26th January 2026, with a salary circa £42,000 per annum. The role is part home-based and part office-based in London.

We are seeking an Organic Social Media Manager for Soccer Aid for UNICEF to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK). This role involves managing the day-to-day creation, delivery and scheduling of cause and fundraising content across UNICEF UK and Soccer Aid social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation, delivery and scheduling of Soccer Aid for UNICEF social media content.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Organic Social Media, Senior Content Manager, and internal and external stakeholders to generate ideas and develop briefs.
  • Support the production of social media assets aligned with fundraising and cause objectives.
  • Develop and deliver social media strategies that drive engagement and action across multiple platforms.
  • Optimise social media channels including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter (X) to achieve business objectives.

Person Specification

  • Significant experience in developing and delivering social media strategies for campaigns.
  • Extensive knowledge of producing, writing and editing content for social media and content management systems.
  • Strong understanding of optimising social media channels to meet objectives.
  • Availability during May and June 2026, with a preferred start date w/c 26th January 2026 or no later than w/c 5th February 2026.

Location and Working Arrangements

  • Part home-based and part office-based at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, East London.
  • Expected to work one or two days per week in the office, with the remainder from home.
  • Additional travel may be required for content shoots, meetings, workshops and events such as Training Week and Match Day.
