Overview
Hargreaves Lansdown, the UK’s number one investment platform for private investors, is seeking a Paid Search Executive to join its Bristol-based Marketing team. This role is central to the company’s ongoing transformation, where marketing is evolving rapidly to deliver data-led performance, powerful storytelling, and optimised digital journeys. The Paid Search Executive will support the planning, execution, and optimisation of campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, ensuring measurable impact and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of paid search strategies across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance to achieve KPIs such as CTR, CPC, and ROI.
- Conduct keyword research, create ad copy, and carry out A/B testing to improve effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align paid search activity with broader marketing initiatives.
- Generate regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and platform updates to apply best practices.
About You
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Proficiency with paid search platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising).
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Experience in paid search or digital marketing roles.
- Google Ads certification desirable.
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
Interview Process
The interview process will include two stages and a task.
Working Pattern
This hybrid role is based in Bristol (BS1 5HL) with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
