Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver paid social media strategies that align with client goals and integrate seamlessly with wider digital campaigns.
- Plan, build, and manage paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, X (Twitter), and Snapchat; always with a performance first mindset.
- Optimise campaign budgets and performance using data, insights, and real-time results – keeping ROI at the heart of every decision.
- Analyse competitor activity, industry trends, and audience behaviour to inform campaign direction and uncover growth opportunities.
- Advise on creative content for paid campaigns to ensure strong performance across placements and platforms.
- Communicate campaign strategies and results to clients in a clear, confident, and accessible way, building trust and demonstrating value.
- Work closely with other digital specialists across SEO, PPC, and client services to deliver cohesive, cross-channel strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and support proposal development – using data, insight, and creative thinking to add value.
- Develop strong relationships with client teams – acting as a strategic partner who’s always thinking ahead.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance turning data into clear actions that drive results.
- Use tools like Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Campaign Manager to gather insights and spot optimisation opportunities.
- Contribute to reporting, case studies, and campaign reviews; always looking for ways to improve and evolve performance.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging formats – sharing learnings with the wider team.
- Support content ideation and campaign planning that reflects new opportunities and keeps clients ahead of the curve.
- Bring fresh thinking to every campaign pushing boundaries where it makes sense to do so.
- Keep campaign documentation, budgets, and performance trackers up to date and well-organised.
- Ensure all content and creative going live meets platform guidelines, brand standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Support internal knowledge sharing by contributing to team updates, process improvements, and campaign retrospectives.
Skills and Experience
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.
- A solid understanding of different campaign formats – from Lead Gen and Catalogue Sales to Conversion, Traffic, and Retargeting.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using analytics tools to deliver insightful reporting and performance recommendations.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse results and take action to improve outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you’re comfortable presenting ideas, strategies, and results to clients and teams.
- High attention to detail when it comes to spelling, grammar, and campaign execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and iWork (Apple’s productivity suite).
- A problem-solving approach that’s both analytical and pragmatic.
- A collaborative mindset – equally comfortable working independently or as part of a wider team.
Desirable
- Facebook Blueprint certification (or other relevant platform qualifications).
- Knowledge of other digital channels and tactics such as PPC, SEO, email marketing, and GA4.
- Previous experience managing eCommerce or B2B campaigns.
- Experience working in a digital marketing agency environment.
- A relevant degree or digital marketing qualification.
