Overview

MG OMD is seeking a Paid Social Account Manager to join the team managing two high-profile clients, Pladis and Nissan, spanning FMCG and automotive sectors. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced paid social specialist to take ownership and lead campaign planning and delivery across a diverse portfolio.

About the Role

As the Paid Social Account Manager, you will be the day-to-day lead for your accounts, responsible for campaign planning, activation, and performance management. You will collaborate closely with Account Directors to shape strategy and manage delivery, while supporting and mentoring junior team members. Building strong relationships with client teams, media owners, and internal stakeholders will be essential to ensure campaigns are executed to the highest standard.

On Pladis, which includes household brands such as McVitie’s and Jaffa Cakes, your focus will be on brand-led campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms, often aligned with seasonal moments and new product launches.

On Nissan, you will support a mix of brand and performance activity across the UK and European markets, working alongside digital and media teams to deliver integrated, measurable campaigns.

This is a hands-on role requiring management of the full campaign lifecycle—from brief through to reporting—with a strong emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day campaign planning, activation, and optimisation across both accounts
  • Develop media plans and audience strategies aligned with broader client objectives
  • Oversee campaign setup and quality assurance to ensure smooth and timely execution
  • Monitor campaign performance and produce insightful reporting
  • Support client communications and help manage ongoing relationships
  • Mentor and support Account Executives, fostering development and collaboration
  • Stay up to date with platform updates, creative trends, and industry innovation

Person Specification

  • Experience managing paid social campaigns across major platforms (Meta essential; TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, measurement, and optimisation techniques
  • Comfortable working with data to track performance and inform recommendations
  • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both internally and with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive mindset with a team-first approach
