Overview
The suitable candidate for the position of Digital Marketing Manager possesses extensive experience in Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn, along with additional expertise in SEA. This role focuses on the strategic and operational management of performance campaigns across multiple paid channels, including close collaboration with external partners and internal stakeholders. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, hands-on campaign experience, and the ability to manage projects end to end in both German and English.
Responsibilities
Paid Media Leadership and Channel Ownership- Responsibility for strategy and implementation of performance campaigns across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, SEA, and other paid social channels.
- Development of channel strategies, testing roadmaps, and budget allocation to achieve scalable performance improvements.
- Ensuring efficient setups, clean governance, and continuous optimisation across accounts and campaigns.
- Definition of relevant KPIs, establishment of optimisation frameworks, and management of performance following a performance-first approach.
- Development of advanced audience strategies (prospecting, retargeting, lookalikes, funnel-based setups) and translation of insights into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Primary contact for paid media and coordination between marketing, creative, product, and data teams.
- Leadership of creative briefing processes (messaging frameworks, creative hypotheses, script directions) ensuring creatives align with performance goals and audience insights.
- End-to-end project management including prioritisation, timelines, best practices, and process optimisation. Team enablement as a go-to expert and sparring partner.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in display, paid social, and performance marketing.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and SEA with practical experience in complex multi-channel setups.
- Strong analytical mindset with confidence in KPI setup, reporting development, and data-driven decision making.
- Proven experience in developing full funnel audience strategies.
- Experience managing external agencies and senior stakeholders with clear, structured communication.
- High ownership and advanced project management skills with the ability to manage complex workstreams end to end across multiple teams.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
