Overview

As the Global Senior Manager, Social Media & Influencer Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of social media and influencer strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. You will manage social channels, influencer partnerships, and content creation, ensuring campaigns are innovative, culturally relevant, and aligned with brand and business objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Brand, Product, Digital, Trade Marketing, and external partners, you will translate strategic concepts into compelling content and campaigns while leveraging analytics to optimise performance and demonstrate measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute an integrated social media strategy aligned with business and marketing goals.
  • Execute daily posting and community management of Meta (Instagram/Facebook), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and future channels.
  • Lead planning and execution of always-on content, campaigns, and editorial calendars.
  • Manage external partners and collaborate with Brand Team for content creation.
  • Collaborate with brand and product teams to ensure message consistency.
Influencer & KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) Marketing
  • Own influencer and KOL strategy, from discovery and vetting to contracting, briefing, and performance analysis.
  • Build long-term relationships with influencers and KOLs who authentically align with the brand.
  • Manage budgets, negotiations, campaign execution, and compliance (FTC, platform rules).
  • Evaluate influencer performance and ROI using data-driven measurement.
Content & Creative Direction Steering
  • Guide the development and execution of high-performing social content (video, short-form, graphics, storytelling series).
  • Identify and implement trending formats and platform features to keep channels culturally relevant.
  • Work with creative teams and external partners to produce compelling and on-brand assets.
  • Optimise content for each platform’s best practices and audience behaviour.
Analytics & Optimisation
  • Set KPIs and track performance across all social and influencer programmes.
  • Analyse insights to guide content adjustments and future campaign planning.
  • Present regular reports to leadership with strategic recommendations.
  • Stay current on platform algorithms, new features, competitive activity, and industry trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Digital team to integrate organic and paid strategies.
  • Work with customer support and product teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience and respond to customer enquiries.
  • Collaborate with Brand team to manage campaign calendars and messaging alignment.
  • Support Trade Marketing team on collaborative campaigns for events, promotions and integration of KOL.

Candidate Profile

Critical Experience
  • 7-10+ years of experience in social media and/or influencer marketing, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of owning social channels and building high-performing programmes with excellent understanding of platform best practices.
  • Experience managing influencer and KOL ecosystems and relationship building.
Highly Desirable
  • Experience within the coffee industry and coffee equipment.
  • Strong command of English language (ideally native speaker); German is a plus.
  • Strong hands-on executional skills and mentality.
  • Strong creative instincts, understanding of storytelling, and ability to brief/design content.
Technical Skills
  • Excellent understanding of analytics tools and social listening tools.
  • Analytical mindset with experience turning data insights into actionable strategies.
Management Skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with willingness to adapt.
