A much-loved scale-up beauty brand is seeking a passionate and strategic Senior Social Media & Community Manager to join their growing team in London. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to take full ownership of the brand’s organic social presence and community strategy, working directly with the Founder and senior leadership team. The Role
As the Senior Social Media & Community Manager, you will lead all aspects of organic social strategy, content, and community engagement. You’ll define the brand’s social voice, craft platform-specific content strategies, and nurture meaningful connections across beauty, fashion, and lifestyle audiences. This is a creative, high-impact role for someone who understands how to blend storytelling, culture, and data to build a thriving online community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a compelling organic social media strategy across all key platforms.
- Define and evolve the brand’s tone of voice, visual identity, and storytelling approach.
- Lead community growth initiatives — engaging audiences, ambassadors, and superfans.
- Work closely with the Founder and senior team to align content with brand vision and key business milestones.
- Plan and manage the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate with influencers, creators, and brand partners to drive authentic connections and advocacy.
- Analyse engagement and community data to inform future campaigns and strategy refinements.
- Stay ahead of social and cultural trends within beauty, fashion, and luxury to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of conversation.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in social media and community management, ideally within beauty, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven track record in growing and engaging online communities organically.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, audience behaviour, and content trends.
- Creative mindset with a strong aesthetic sensibility aligned to the beauty and fashion worlds.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where initiative and ownership are key.
- Strong analytical approach, using data to measure and evolve community engagement.
