Overview

We are seeking a Senior Social Media Content Manager to lead the creation of engaging, high-quality social-first content with a strong emphasis on video. This role involves taking ideas from concept through to delivery, ensuring content is platform-native, on-brand, and performs well across channels such as TikTok, Instagram, and Meta. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Social & Content and wider teams to shape content strategy, mentor junior creatives, and use performance insights to continuously improve client results.

Salary

£40,000 – £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
(Monday and Thursday in office)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and delivery of high-performing, social-first content, with a strong focus on video
  • Oversee content calendars and ensure platform-native creative across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and LinkedIn
  • Take concepts from brief through to final execution, ensuring high creative standards
  • Analyse content performance and optimise output to improve engagement and results
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver against agreed social strategies
  • Mentor and support junior team members and external creators

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing within an agency or fast-paced brand environment
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms, trends, and algorithms
  • Hands-on experience creating and editing video and visual content
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Confident presenting ideas and performance insights to clients or senior stakeholders
  • A creative mindset with strong storytelling skills and commercial awareness
