Overview
Working for a well-funded and profitable health and wellness eCommerce brand, the Social Media Strategist / Senior Social Media Manager / Social Channel Community Manager role involves managing one Social Media Manager to develop and execute brand campaigns across social channels, especially Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, podcasts and other relevant platforms.
This role focuses on setting the strategy to communicate the brand to target consumer segments rather than direct product selling via social channels. It is also very hands-on, involving copy development and direct campaign building.
The position will likely involve launching a YouTube channel from scratch, so experience with long-form content is a strong advantage.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3-4 days per week in the West London offices, with a flexible and delivery-focused working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own content strategies across social platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Podcasts, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Develop and launch Podcast and YouTube channels, leveraging the network of brands and ambassadors.
- Own the campaign strategy and schedule across all channels to grow the brand and inspire followers.
- Lead brand activation and events, delivering immersive and impactful experiences.
- Play a leading role in crafting brand activation strategy, enabling scalable tools and developing innovative event formats and partnerships.
- Coordinate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and partner brands to expand reach and enhance content visibility and quality.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to create cohesive and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to continually refine and advance social media presence.
- Use analytics tools to monitor and report on performance, adjusting strategies to improve engagement, reach, and alignment with the target audience.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong experience planning and delivering impactful brand campaigns across social channels that have driven engagement, brand followers, and ultimately product sales.
- Some experience with health, fitness, nutrition or wellness products/services, or a strong interest in this category and lifestyle area.
- Experience creating social channel strategy and hands-on execution of a campaign roadmap.
- A passion for social media, staying up to date with content formats, social platforms, and trends.
- Experience briefing and managing external creative partners such as photographers, content creators, and agencies.
