We are working alongside a leading agency in the PR and Social Media sector to recruit a Senior Social Media Manager. This established agency, with over 20 years of experience, operates across various industries including FMCG, hospitality, and retail. They are known for their strong branding and market positioning, offering the opportunity to work with innovative thinkers and exclusive brands.
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a well-established Social Media team and work closely with the PR team to ensure alignment with wider agency campaigns. This role encourages creative thinking and the development of niche ideas within a bold and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and supporting executives with tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Overseeing and organising content shoots and schedules
- Strategising with the wider team and actively participating in ideation
- Keeping up to date with relevant social media trends for the client portfolio
About You
The ideal candidate will have over five years’ experience in Social Media, primarily within an agency setting. You will be versatile across all major social channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. While your experience will be predominantly organic, knowledge of paid social media is also desirable.
Requirements
- Approximately five years’ experience in Social Media on either agency or brand side
- A strong social media portfolio featuring notable brands
- Experience progressing through content creation, social media writing, and content calendar management
- Ambition to move into a strategic role involving mentoring junior team members and engaging in client communications
