Overview
Gym King is seeking a creative and trend-driven Social Content Creator (Videographer) to join the Brand team. Based in Leeds (Colton), this role involves producing engaging, high-quality digital content that captures the energy of our athletes, community, and culture. The successful candidate will deliver platform-native content that drives engagement, builds brand loyalty, and supports commercial growth.
The Role
As a Social Content Creator (Videographer), you will be responsible for creating scroll-stopping content across TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms. You will work closely with the Brand, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to produce authentic and relevant content that aligns with Gym King’s voice and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Production
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content
- Produce content for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube Shorts, website, and digital campaigns
- Capture product, athlete training, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, visual identity, and campaign objectives
- Social-First Storytelling
- Create reactive and trend-led content tailored to platform algorithms
- Develop engaging Reels, TikToks, and Shorts that feel native and culturally relevant
- Write compelling captions and on-brand copy to drive engagement
- Shoot & Event Support
- Attend studio shoots, athlete sessions, retail activations, and brand events
- Capture live content for real-time social use
- Assist with e-commerce shoot image selections for retouching and digital use
- Content Planning & Strategy
- Support content calendar planning aligned with marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, and E-commerce teams
- Bring forward new creative concepts, formats, and content series ideas
- Trend & Culture Monitoring
- Stay ahead of social trends, audio trends, platform updates, and emerging creators
- Identify cultural moments relevant to Gym King’s audience
- Continuously evolve creative output to remain competitive
About You
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in digital content creation or social media
- Strong portfolio demonstrating video-first social content
- Proficient in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut
- Experience with graphic design tools including Canva and Adobe Suite
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and short-form content trends
- Confident shooting both in studio and on location
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to travel when required
- Full UK driving licence

Working Hours & Location
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. A flexible approach to working hours is required to meet the needs of the role.
Location: Unit 6 Temple Point, Bullerthorpe Lane, Colton, Leeds LS15 9JL. The site is 2 minutes from M1 Junction 46 and 20 minutes from Leeds Station. Travel will be required as part of this role.
