Overview

The Social Element, a leading independent full-service social media agency, is seeking a talented Social Insights Analyst (or Senior Analyst, depending on experience) to join their award-winning Intelligence Team. With clients including PlayStation, Nissan, and Visa, this is a chance to work with some of the world’s largest brands and deliver industry-first insights that fuel growth, trust, and loyalty. This hybrid role is based in London, with one day a week in the office.

The Opportunity

As a Social Insights Analyst, you’ll deliver compelling analysis, insights, and reports for global and national brands. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with cultural awareness to identify trends, drive innovation, and help clients better understand their audiences. Reporting to a Social Intelligence Manager, you’ll be a vital part of the team’s reporting programmes, monthly and quarterly strategy delivery, and insights projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver analysis on insights projects in collaboration with the Insights Manager.
  • Contribute to strategic monthly and quarterly client reporting programmes.
  • Work on insights project types including social listening, trends, and audience analysis.
  • Support proposals and scoping of new client work alongside senior team members.
  • Develop research skills, exploring survey data, web analytics, and desk research.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across teams and clients.
  • Promote the Intelligence Team internally and externally, contributing to PR activity.
  • Contribute to a culture of learning, development, and innovation within the team.

Skills & Traits

  • Strong technical experience with social listening tools (e.g., Talkwalker, Hootsuite, Sprinklr).
  • Experience with Global Web Index or similar is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to bring insights to life.
  • Curious, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Competent in Microsoft/Google Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Team-oriented, yet able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in an insights role (brand-side, agency, or publisher).
  • Experience working with multi-market clients.
  • Bonus: Experience in automotive, financial services, retail, or travel sectors.
