Contract: Full-time
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Salary: Not Specified
Company: Corus Consulting

Overview

CORUS is seeking a Social Media Analyst to support an international insurance project, working at the intersection of social performance, digital insights, and brand monitoring. This role is focused on analysis, reporting, and strategic insight rather than content creation, playing a critical role in how social data informs decision-making at both operational and senior leadership levels. The position is based in Barcelona with a hybrid working model, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and report on social media performance across organic and paid channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness, channel performance, and audience behaviour using defined KPIs.
  • Create clear, structured social media and digital performance presentations with actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Conduct desktop research and benchmarking analysis on competitor social and digital activity, identifying trends, strategies, and performance gaps.
  • Support strategic initiatives aimed at improving the visibility of Large Language Models (LLMs), including monitoring brand presence on forums, review sites, and third-party platforms.
  • Classify, tag, and organise social media content to ensure accurate tracking and long-term insight generation.
  • Monitor brand health, identifying potential risks, issues, or opportunities and supporting escalation processes when required.
  • Assist the Brand Monitoring team with social listening and the identification of proactive community engagement opportunities.
  • Provide operational support for social media management platforms, including Sprinklr and Meta Business tools (permissions, configuration checks, and ticket follow-ups).

Required Experience & Skills

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in social media analytics, insights reporting, or digital marketing.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret KPIs, trends, and performance signals.
  • Professional proficiency in English and fluent Spanish; German and Portuguese are advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with social media management and analytics tools, with Sprinklr experience strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Meta Business Suite and paid/organic social reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, with the ability to identify opportunities to apply them in social analysis and strategy.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and evolving user behaviours.
  • Advanced skills in Office 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and presentations.

What’s Offered

  • Hybrid working model based in Barcelona (4 days remote, 1 day in-office).
  • Flexible compensation structure.
  • Personalised training and development plan.
  • People-first team culture with strong collaboration.
  • Dynamic, international work environment.
  • Exposure to high-value, technology-driven international projects.
