Scandit is seeking a Global Social Media and Community Manager to lead and execute its social media strategy across multiple platforms. Your Opportunity

As Social Media and Community Manager, you will own Scandit’s social media strategy end-to-end, creating content that resonates with audiences ranging from technical developers to C-suite executives in sectors such as retail, logistics, and airlines. This hands-on, strategic role requires a creative and data-driven approach with strong storytelling skills.

What You Will Do

  • Social Media Strategy & Channel Management
    Own, execute, and report on Scandit’s organic social strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
    Create and publish high-quality content including video, visuals, carousels, and surveys optimised for each platform.
    Manage LinkedIn Newsletter and articles to extend thought leadership reach.
    Leverage AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to enhance efficiency, creativity, and content quality while maintaining originality.
  • Executive & SME Thought Leadership
    Collaborate with subject matter experts and executives to develop custom thought leadership content via their social profiles.
    Plan ideation sessions and create multi-format posts positioning leaders as industry voices.
    Manage approval processes, publishing schedules, and performance tracking.
  • Employee Advocacy Program Leadership
    Lead and scale Scandit’s employee advocacy programme using Oktopost, driving adoption, participation, and engagement.
    Manage platform administration, content creation, supplier relationships, user communications, and reporting.
  • Community Building & Engagement
    Design and implement engagement strategies across forums such as Reddit, G2, and industry communities.
    Build relationships with customers, influencers, and product users to foster authentic engagement.
    Encourage advocacy through user reviews and active community participation.
  • Measurement & Optimisation
    Continuously measure social channel performance demonstrating business outcomes from engagement to pipeline contribution.
    Track key metrics including engagement, reach, click-through rate (CTR), and brand sentiment, translating data into actionable insights.
    Test and optimise strategies to demonstrate return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaboration & Cross-Function Support
    Work closely with the Marketing Communications Team and other teams such as Product, People, and Workplace to align social activity with broader marketing campaigns and business objectives.
    Contribute ideas to video, brand, and campaign projects integrating social channels effectively.

Who We Look For

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years B2B social media experience, preferably within enterprise software, SaaS, or related technology sectors
  • Degree-level education in Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record in scaling social channels from strategy to execution with measurable brand impact
  • Experience collaborating with senior executives on social thought leadership and providing expert guidance on personal profile activity
  • Deep expertise in LinkedIn and strong working knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills with strong visual and video instincts
  • Data fluency to navigate analytics, drive optimisation, and connect social activity to business results
  • Comfortable producing multi-format content including video, graphics, carousels, and interactive elements
  • Experience with employee advocacy platforms such as Oktopost preferred
  • Proven use of AI tools, LLMs, and automation to enhance creativity and efficiency in social media workflows
  • Strategic executor with the ability to set direction and implement plans effectively
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Hockeystack, Canva or similar platforms preferred
  • Experience managing suppliers such as designers, video editors, and agencies
  • Native or fluent English speaker
