Overview
Wal G is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator and Social Assistant to join our team based in Central London. The successful candidate will support the creation and execution of social media content across various digital channels. This role is ideal for someone confident in producing content in diverse environments, attuned to current trends, and eager to contribute within a fast-paced, collaborative office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging, social-first content for Instagram and TikTok
- Capture and edit short-form video content including Reels and TikTok videos
- Write captions and short written content aligned with the brand’s tone and objectives
- Confidently film content in public spaces, on location, and around the city
- Stay up to date with social media trends and proactively pitch ideas
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns
- Assist with posting, engagement, and general social media activity
- Support the wider team with additional tasks as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Content Creator or in a related creative role; fashion or lifestyle experience preferred
- Confident camera and iPhone videography skills; comfortable creating content in public
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Photo and video editing skills using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe
- Strong communication skills with an eye for storytelling
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team player mindset
- Availability to work on site in Central London from 9:30am to 6:00pm
