We have partnered with a leading consumer product development agency, renowned for creating innovative products across health & beauty, lifestyle, and tech sectors. They have a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level Social Media Content Creator to join their team.
Their creative studio is based near Hertfordshire, on the northwest London borders, offering a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Note:
They are working 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
The studio is a short walk from the main station and provides free car parking spaces.
The Role
We are seeking a Social Media Content Creator to lead the agency’s client brand digital presence and public relations efforts. This role involves managing six beauty and healthcare brands, developing engaging content strategies, boosting audience interaction, managing the online community, and overseeing promotional campaigns across social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, strategic planning, and a full understanding of social platforms and how they work.
These brands aim to enhance their online presence and increase engagement with their audience by adding great content across the different brands.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all social channels, both paid and organic.
- Design and execute creative content strategies to maximise engagement and growth, focusing on dynamic posts such as reels, carousels, and videos.
- Manage day-to-day user-generated content (UGC) production.
- Manage and maintain 6+ social media accounts across all social platforms.
- Develop social media strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement for new and existing brands.
- Budget for paid social advertising campaigns, ensuring optimal performance, with support available if needed.
- Direct influencer marketing initiatives and ambassador programmes to bolster brand visibility.
- Craft compelling copy for social media posts, ad campaigns, press releases, and marketing materials, ensuring consistency with the brand’s tone and messaging.
- Regularly update social media platforms and manage the distribution of press materials.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in social media planning, content creation, digital and direct marketing, and copywriting.
- Strong ability to produce engaging content, including reels, carousels, videos, and written copy that captures the audience’s attention.
- Knowledge of paid advertising, influencer partnerships, SEO, and copywriting best practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) and social media scheduling software (e.g., Hey Orca).
- Proficient in Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Experience using AI for social channels, or a curiosity to learn AI.
- Ability to adapt to changing social media trends and platform updates.
- Effective working both independently and as part of a team.
