Overview
Metropolitan Gaming is seeking a creative and digitally minded Social Media Content Creator to support content production across its social channels. This role offers hands-on experience capturing venue moments, supporting campaigns and events, and helping bring the brand to life through social-first storytelling across a portfolio of London venues. Working within a fast-paced marketing team, you will create content that reflects the customer experience across gaming, food and beverage, live events, and the wider venue environment. The role is highly practical and suited to someone who is organised, visually strong, and comfortable filming, editing, and publishing content across multiple locations.The Role
You will be responsible for producing and publishing social content across key platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. This includes travelling between venues, filming and editing social-first assets, maintaining content schedules, and supporting campaigns in line with the wider marketing calendar. This is an operational, content-led role where initiative, responsiveness, and consistency matter. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, gaming, and food and beverage teams, ensuring content is aligned to brand standards and current social media best practice.Key Responsibilities
- Create and capture social media content for Metropolitan Gaming’s channels across four London venues.
- Film, photograph, and edit content that showcases gaming, food and beverage, events, and the overall venue experience.
- Plan, schedule, and publish content in line with the marketing calendar and key promotional activity.
- Support the promotion of events, campaigns, and brand initiatives through timely and engaging social content.
- Monitor performance and contribute to reporting and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Track competitor activity and wider industry trends to inform creative ideas and content planning.
- Use internal tools such as Sprout Social and Asana to manage publishing, workflows, and collaboration.
- Maintain visual consistency and tone of voice across all content in line with brand guidelines.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify live moments and content opportunities across venues.
Skills & Experience
- Strong content creation skills across photography, videography, and short-form social video.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite relevant to content production, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects.
- Good understanding of major social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Basic editing and visual storytelling skills tailored to social-first formats.
- Strong written communication skills, including caption writing.
- Ability to manage a content calendar and organise multiple tasks effectively.
- Analytical mindset and confidence interpreting social performance metrics.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working across multiple internal teams and venues.
- Awareness of emerging platform trends, content formats, and best practice.
- Proactive, reliable, and confident using initiative to identify content opportunities.
Working Pattern
- Role involves regular travel between London venues, with occasional travel to provincial locations where required.
