Overview

We are seeking a Social Media and Content Executive for a permanent position in London, offering flexible working and a full-time schedule. This role is within the Retail & Consumer Goods industry, with a salary of up to £40,000.

Your New Company

Hays has partnered with a retail wholesaler specialising in stylish, sustainable products for celebrations and gatherings. Their mission is to bring people together and create memorable moments while minimising environmental impact. They operate internationally, with strong markets in the UK, US, and Europe, and partnerships with premium retailers like John Lewis, Selfridges, and Barnes & Noble.

Your New Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Growing brand presence and engagement across social media platforms while fostering a vibrant online community.
  • Managing the day-to-day execution of a dynamic content calendar, creating compelling posts and campaigns.
  • Planning and producing creative content, managing influencer relationships, and experimenting with new formats and technologies.
  • Overseeing paid social campaigns and optimising performance based on data insights.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure alignment across marketing initiatives.
  • Monitoring trends, interacting with the community, and storytelling to bring the brand to life.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • 2–3 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing, ideally within a lifestyle or consumer brand.
  • A proven ability to grow and engage audiences on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid campaigns through tools like Meta Ads Manager.
  • Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to translate performance data into actionable insights.
  • High organisation, creativity, and comfort working with AI-driven tools for content ideation.
  • A collaborative mindset, enthusiasm for social trends, and an eye for design.

What You’ll Get in Return

In return, you will join a forward-thinking team that values creativity, innovation, and bold ideas. You will have the opportunity to shape how the brand connects with its audience, experiment with emerging technologies, and contribute to exciting campaigns and events. This role offers a chance to make a tangible impact on brand growth while working in a supportive, energetic environment that encourages professional development and creative freedom.
