A leading and fast-growing professional brand is seeking a Social Media Content Manager to take full ownership of its organic and paid social strategy across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging digital platforms.
This hands-on yet strategic position requires a creative storyteller with the ability to lead social content direction, drive engagement, and position the brand as a thought leader within its industry. You will be responsible for building a distinct social voice, shaping audience perception, and helping the brand grow its influence across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching social media strategy to align with business goals, brand vision, and marketing objectives.
- Plan and manage the social content calendar, maintaining a balanced mix of evergreen, campaign, and reactive content.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging posts, graphics, short-form videos, and thought leadership content tailored to each platform.
- Oversee community management and engagement, fostering a professional yet approachable online presence.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on social performance metrics using analytics tools to refine content strategy and drive measurable growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and senior business stakeholders to amplify initiatives and campaigns.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies to ensure the brand remains current and innovative.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing and growing social media for a major brand, agency, or fast-growing business.
- Deep understanding of audience behaviour across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to produce engaging, polished content that reflects brand tone and professionalism.
- Proficiency with tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate social insights into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
