Overview
We are working with a fast-growing student nightlife and live events brand to recruit a Social Media Marketing & Events Executive. This hands-on, high-energy role combines social media content creation, event promotion and live event support. It is ideal for someone confident, outgoing and comfortable being on site at busy midweek club nights, capturing content and helping deliver successful events.
This is not a desk-based marketing role. You will be regularly present in venues, working with promoters, DJs, venue teams and student representatives, playing a key part in building hype around events.
The Role
You will be responsible for creating and managing social content that promotes events, drives ticket sales and builds brand presence, while also supporting the delivery of live events on the ground. You will work closely with the events and marketing team and be trusted to represent the brand in nightlife environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating engaging social media content including reels, stories and posts
- Managing and growing social media channels across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms
- Capturing live content at events during midweek evenings
- Supporting the promotion of student club nights and live events
- Working on site with venue managers, promoters and event teams
- Assisting with event set up, delivery and pack down where required
- Supporting ticket sales activity and on the ground promotion
- Engaging with student brand reps and ambassadors
- Monitoring performance and suggesting content and campaign improvements
About You
- Confident, outgoing and comfortable working in nightlife environments
- Strong interest in social media, content creation and live events
- Happy working evenings midweek and occasional weekends
- Able to think on your feet and adapt in fast paced environments
- Strong communication skills and confident dealing with venues and promoters
- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Ideally some experience in social media, events, nightlife or promotions
- Full UK driving licence preferred
