Job Description

Contract: Full-time
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
Salary: Not specified
Company: Knight Knox

Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Executive with a passion for building brands through smart strategy, thoughtful storytelling and consistent, well-executed ideas. This role requires creativity, patience and a strategic mindset, as our projects often develop over several months rather than moving at the pace of fast-moving consumer goods.

In this position, you will combine creativity and data to develop concepts that bring our properties to life, managing both organic and paid social media activity. You will collaborate with influencers and creators to build a trustworthy and valuable social presence for our audience.

If you enjoy finding clever angles, thinking ahead and working within an ambitious yet supportive team, this role will suit you. The ability to make a property feel irresistible without physical interaction is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Organic Social
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Plan, create and schedule social-first content that reflects the brand and resonates with target audiences.
  • Optimise content using insights, trends and platform best practices.
  • Build and nurture engaged communities through consistent interaction and thoughtful storytelling.
  • Track and report organic performance, sharing insights and recommendations each month.
Paid Social
  • Plan, build and optimise paid campaigns across Meta platforms.
  • Manage budgets, targeting, creative testing and ongoing optimisation.
  • Monitor KPIs and refine campaigns to achieve performance targets.
  • Work with designers and content creators to develop high-performing paid assets.
Campaign Ownership
  • Collaborate across the marketing team to ensure messaging and content align with commercial priorities.
  • Report on results and provide clear next steps for future optimisations.

Must-Have Experience

  • Demonstrable success growing organic social channels.
  • Hands-on experience running paid campaigns across major social platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social analytics and confidence using insights to shape strategy.
  • Ability to produce or source high-quality content including video, UGC and social-first assets.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with strong attention to tone of voice.
  • Confident presenting ideas, data and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

  • Background working with high-end or premium brands.
  • Exposure to consultative selling environments or longer purchase journeys.
  • Experience with content funnels, lead generation and performance optimisation.
  • Familiarity with CRM or audience segmentation tools.
  • Experience within property, investment, lifestyle or luxury sectors.

Personal Attributes

  • Creative, proactive and always looking for ways to elevate the brand.
  • Passionate about trends, platform updates and emerging content styles.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communicator who builds positive relationships with influencers, creators and internal teams.
  • Results-focused, with a blend of creativity and commercial awareness.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent growth across all social channels.
  • Strong engagement and content performance.
  • Clear reporting supported by actionable insights.
