Overview

Vilgain, a fast-growing food and wellness brand expanding rapidly in the UK and US, is seeking a Social Media Executive to support and scale its social media presence across both markets. This full-time, mid-level role is based in London (Camden office) with opportunities for remote work on the US East Coast. The successful candidate will work closely with the US/UK Social Media Lead and be part of a global marketing team managing content on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of localized social media content for UK and US markets
• Translate content ideas into platform-native formats such as Reels, Carousels, and Stories
• Assist with captions, hooks, and basic content outlines
• Contribute ideas for culturally relevant, timely, and trend-driven content
• Monitor and moderate comments and direct messages across assigned platforms
• Respond to the community in line with brand tone and moderation guidelines
• Escalate customer service, product, or sensitive enquiries internally
• Identify recurring feedback, FAQs, and insights for internal reporting
• Schedule and publish content according to approved calendars
• Run final quality checks before content goes live
• Support cross-team coordination to ensure smooth delivery
• Help maintain a consistent posting cadence across markets
• Monitor trends, formats, and audio in food, health, and wellness sectors
• Track competitor activity across UK and US markets
• Share insights to support ongoing content planning

Person Specification

• 2–4 years of experience in social media, digital content, or community management
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Instagram and TikTok
• Excellent written English communication skills
• Experience with content publishing and community moderation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail and willingness to learn

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience in food, health, wellness, or lifestyle sectors
• Familiarity with scheduling, publishing, and analytics tools
• Experience working with international or multi-market accounts
