The Role
This is a hands-on opportunity for a Social Media Executive to take ownership of content creation, community engagement, and local market execution, while collaborating with wider global teams. The role offers a strong mix of strategy and execution, with the opportunity to make a real impact on audience growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Growth
- Support the development and execution of the UK & Ireland social media strategy in line with wider business objectives.
- Localise global content to ensure relevance for the UK audience.
- Plan and manage a content calendar aligned with campaigns, launches, and key trading periods.
- Content Creation
- Create and publish engaging, platform-specific content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
- Develop visual and video content that aligns with brand positioning and resonates with the target audience.
- Stay up to date with social trends and identify new opportunities to drive engagement and growth.
- Community Management
- Manage day-to-day community engagement, including responding to comments and messages.
- Build relationships with the online community to strengthen brand loyalty.
- Support influencer and creator collaborations aligned with brand positioning.
- Performance & Optimisation
- Monitor and report on key social media metrics including engagement, reach, and growth.
- Analyse performance and provide actionable insights to improve content and strategy.
- Continuously optimise activity based on results and audience behaviour.
About You
- Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or in a similar role.
- Experience within beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brands is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of key social platforms and current best practices.
- Confident in content creation, including basic photography and video editing.
- Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial.
