Job Description
Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Rate: £250–£300 per day (negotiable)
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Location: Watford (commutable to London for occasional meetings)
About the Role:
We need a Social Media Executive or Manager to cover an internal secondment on short notice. You’ll manage both paid and organic social channels, create engaging content, and support ongoing campaigns for one of our largest retail clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Execute paid social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and optimise performance
- Plan, create, and publish organic content—static and video—for key social platforms
- Work with the marketing team to align social activity with broader retail campaigns
- Monitor engagement metrics and report insights to the client weekly
- Stay on top of social trends and suggest real-time creative ideas
- Attend the Watford office three days a week, liaising directly with stakeholders
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in both paid and organic social media management
- Strong content-creation skills, including static graphics and short-form video
- Retail or e-commerce experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to hit the ground running and start immediately
- Comfort commuting to Watford and working on-site three days a week
- Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking abilities
