Overview

We are working on behalf of a forward-thinking organisation seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence of multiple brands. This full-time, in-person role based in Bolton offers a salary of £35,000–£45,000. The successful candidate will be creative, strategic, and skilled in AI-enhanced social media management, with the opportunity to make a measurable impact across corporate and personal brand channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead multi-brand social strategy: Develop and execute campaigns that drive measurable engagement, awareness, and growth.
  • Create AI-enhanced content: Leverage tools such as Predis.ai, Canva AI, or Lumen5 to generate ideas, scripts, captions, and repurposed content.
  • Manage campaigns end-to-end: Plan content calendars, schedule posts, and collaborate with creative teams.
  • Build thriving communities: Engage audiences authentically, monitor trends, and respond in real time.
  • Analyse and optimise performance: Track KPIs, run A/B tests, and use analytics to improve results.
  • Support high-visibility brands: Strategically manage personal and corporate brand content.
  • Drive innovation: Experiment with emerging platforms, formats, and ideas to stay ahead of digital trends.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years’ experience in social media strategy, ideally across multiple brands or high-visibility projects.
  • Proven record of growing engaged communities and driving measurable outcomes.
  • Creative storyteller with a strong visual eye and content creation experience.
  • Experienced using AI-enhanced tools for content creation, social listening, and campaign optimisation.
  • Data-driven and confident interpreting analytics to inform strategy.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative and able to inspire a creative team while taking ownership of your work.

Essential Skills & Tools

  • Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest
  • Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, etc.)
  • Canva AI, Adobe Suite, Lumen5/Pictory (or similar)
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling ability
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and campaign ROI
