Your Role

As Social Media Manager, you will be central to our social offering, responsible for individual client social strategies which are reviewed and adjusted quarterly. You will collaborate with our social, content, and management teams but own the day-to-day management of these strategies. Additionally, you will manage a Social Executive to ensure consistent, organised execution aligned with strategy. This role is ideal for someone ready to take ownership and grow into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own social media strategy for multiple retained clients
  • Build, review, and evolve client strategies on a quarterly basis
  • Manage and support a Social Executive
  • Work closely with videographers and editors to shape formats, hooks, and iterations
  • Oversee content calendars, posting, optimisation, and engagement
  • Use performance data to inform creative and strategic decisions
  • Feed insights back into the wider content, social, and management teams
  • Support onboarding, quarterly reviews, and ongoing client conversations
  • Help refine internal social processes as INOV8 continues to scale
  • Lead monthly internal social round-up meetings

Person Specification

  • Experience managing brand social media accounts
  • Comfortable contributing to both strategy and execution
  • Experience supporting or mentoring a junior team member
  • Strong understanding of short-form platforms and performance-led content
  • Confident writing captions and on-platform copy
  • Organised, accountable, and commercially aware
  • Experience with SaaS, tech, automotive, or performance brands is a bonus

Progression

This role is expected to grow over time. As INOV8 scales, you will move towards a Head of Social position, taking on greater strategic responsibility, leading the social function, and helping build out the wider team. Equity potential will be available after time served for the right person who grows with the business and helps shape this department long term.
