Overview

We are seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to grow our audience, strengthen our online presence, and bring our brand voice to life across social platforms. This role suits a strategic and hands-on individual confident in planning content, writing copy, publishing posts, engaging with the audience, and using performance data to improve results over time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a social media content calendar
  • Plan, write, schedule, and publish content across relevant social platforms
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual direction
  • Engage with followers through comments, direct messages, and community interaction
  • Monitor performance and provide regular reporting with insights and recommendations
  • Stay current on platform trends, content formats, and best practices
  • Support campaigns, launches, and promotional initiatives through social content
  • Collaborate with internal team members or creative partners as needed
  • Test new ideas and optimise content based on engagement and performance

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy
  • Strong copywriting and written communication skills
  • Experience managing brand accounts and increasing engagement
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and analytics platforms
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Canva or basic design experience
  • Experience with short-form video content
  • Experience working with storytelling brands, personal brands, or community-driven brands
