Overview
Liberty Marketing is seeking a Social Media Team Lead to join their dynamic team in Cardiff, United Kingdom. This full-time position offers the flexibility of hybrid or remote work for UK-based candidates, focusing on leading client accounts and managing a team of social media specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day delivery for a portfolio of social media clients (B2B and B2C).
- Lead strategy development across multiple platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Oversee the creation and execution of content plans that drive measurable results.
- Ensure 80%+ of client KPIs are consistently on track.
- Host inspiring, collaborative client workshops to align goals and set strategic direction.
- Act as an escalation point for client delivery issues.
- Maintain accountability for the quality and performance of all social deliverables.
- Line manage and coach a team of social media specialists.
- Forecast and ROI modelling for clients.
- Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of social media experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering social media strategies.
- Confident leading workshops and strategic sessions with clients.
- Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Organised, adaptable, and highly collaborative.
