Overview
Methods is seeking a proactive and creative Website & Social Media Manager for a fixed-term maternity cover contract of approximately 9-12 months. This hybrid role, based in the UK with two days per week in London, involves managing and updating corporate websites, developing digital content, and supporting social media channels to enhance engagement and reflect the organisation’s values and expertise.

Role Overview
The Website & Social Media Manager will manage and update the Methods.co.uk and Alten.co.uk websites, develop landing pages and microsites, and deliver high-quality digital content aligned with strategic content pillars. The role supports marketing campaigns, enhances user experience, drives social media engagement, and ensures the online presence reflects the organisation’s services and expertise.
This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional HubSpot CMS skills, strong WordPress capability, and the ability to create on-brand, strategically aligned content.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Management
- Own and manage updates to Methods.co.uk via HubSpot CMS, including page creation, content uploads, navigation adjustments, and optimisation.
- Use advanced HubSpot skills to build landing pages, microsites, and campaign-specific digital assets.
- Maintain and update Alten.co.uk using WordPress, ensuring content accuracy and brand consistency.
- Implement best-practice SEO across all web content.
- Ensure website accessibility, usability, and performance meet industry standards.
- Content Creation & Digital Campaign Support
- Create content aligned with strategic content pillars to support marketing campaigns.
- Develop engaging page content, blog posts, news updates, and multimedia assets.
- Draft and publish social media posts across company channels including LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Monitor relevant external issues and create timely content in response.
- Social Media Management
- Manage and schedule posts across social media platforms, ensuring consistent tone and brand alignment.
- Support campaign content rollout, thought leadership, event promotion, and corporate announcements.
- Track engagement and performance, reporting insights to the marketing team.
- Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with Marketing & Communications team, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to source and refine content.
- Ensure all digital content adheres to brand guidelines, compliance, and accessibility standards.
- Maintain content calendars for web and social channels.
Requirements
Essential- Expert-level HubSpot CMS skills including building pages, templates, landing pages, forms, and microsites.
- Strong WordPress experience with content updates and basic page layout adjustments.
- Proven experience managing corporate websites and social media channels.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills with attention to tone, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Ability to interpret strategic content pillars and translate them into engaging digital assets.
- Working knowledge of SEO, UX best practices, and web accessibility.
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns with web and social content.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic HTML/CSS familiarity.
- Experience with marketing automation tools within HubSpot.
- Understanding of digital analytics and reporting (Google Analytics, HubSpot reporting, social analytics).
- Experience working within B2G, public sector, or technology environments.
